BRAGAFirst - Practice-Based Research Network

BRAGAFirst is a Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN) in Primary Health Care created by the Braga Local Health Unit (ULSB) and supported by the Academic Clinical Center - Braga, Association (2CA-Braga), P5 Digital Medicine Center and the University of Minho, through the Life Sciences and Health Research Institute (ICVS).
In 2024, BRAGAFirst was one of the Networks awarded by the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation - AICIB, and received the AICIB Primary Health Care 2024 Grant.
MISSION
To promote excellence in primary health care by conducting multidisciplinary clinical and epidemiological research, based on clinical practice, which responds to the real needs of citizens and health care providers.
VISION
To constitute a reference network in clinical research, recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence and impact on primary health care, influencing citizen-centered clinical practice and health policies.
