Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communication, Multimedia Communication, Marketing, Communication Design, or a related field;

Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation (preferred);

Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools;

Strong communication skills, creativity, organization, and autonomy;

Work plan
The main objective of this position is to create, implement, and develop the 2CA-Braga Communication Department, ensuring a consistent and strategic institutional presence, promoting the institution’s different units, and producing content that reflects its scientific, clinical, and educational activities.
The Senior Technician will perform the following duties, among others:

Plan, manage, and animate 2CA-Braga’s social media channels, including content creation, publication, and monitoring, aiming to increase visibility, reach, and engagement with target audiences;

Produce multimedia content, including photographs, videos, reels, interviews, short informative videos, participant testimonials, and educational mini-contents;
-
Update and maintain the institutional website, ensuring clear, up-to-date, and consistent information aligned with 2CA-Braga’s institutional identity and its units;
-
Create and develop visual identity, graphic materials, and branding elements for the various 2CA-Braga units;
-
Support 2CA-Braga’s participation in fairs, conferences, lectures, meetings, webinars, and other events, ensuring audiovisual coverage, content collection, and dissemination;
-
Produce institutional and promotional materials such as presentations, brochures, newsletters, and digital content for internal and external communication;
-
Propose and implement communication strategies to strengthen institutional visibility, promote scientific communication, and ensure a consistent, modern, and mission-aligned digital presence.
Duration and Activity Regime
Fixed-term contract of 1 year, renewable.

Work plan
The purpose of this position is to support the Finance Department and Management of 2CA-Braga, specifically:
Support in the preparation and review of financial agreements/contracts with public and/or private entities (e.g. pharmaceutical and/or medical device promoters);
Issuing invoices to public and/or private entities, in accordance with the deadlines set out in the financial contracts;
Controlling all invoicing within the scope of 2CA-Braga's activities (e.g. clinical studies, R&D projects, scientific consulting and clinical services);
Ensuring compliance with all obligations imposed by the PRR, namely the submission of periodic reports, the justification of expenses, and the monitoring of audits or external verifications, in order to ensure that all requirements are met;
Collaborate in the implementation of good practices in project management and the optimisation of internal processes to ensure maximum efficiency in the administrative and financial management of funded projects.
Ensure the financial execution of the Research and Technological Development project, within the scope of the ‘Agendas/Alliances mobilising for Business Innovation’ of Component 5 of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), by submitting payment requests on the innovation management platforms.

Fixed-term employment contract, lasting one year, renewable.
Selection methods
The selection methods applicable will be Curriculum Assessment (CA) and Interview (I).
The interview will only be conducted with the three candidates with the highest scores in the curriculum assessment.
The final assessment will be obtained taking into account the following weightings: CA - 60% and I - 40%.
The criteria and respective weightings for each of the methods indicated (CA and I) are detailed below.
The CA will have a weighting of 60%, distributed across the following parameters:
CA1) Assessment of the candidate's academic profile/curriculum vitae (weighting of 25%);
AC2) Academic and professional experience in the areas of interest defined in the work plan (weighting of 35%).
E will have a weighting of 40%, distributed across the following parameters:
E1) Demonstration of communication skills; demonstration of teamwork skills; assessment of mastery of the research area; fluency in English) (weighting of 40%).

Monitoring all billing activities related to 2CA-Braga’s operations (e.g., clinical studies, R&D projects, scientific consulting, and clinical services);

Ensuring compliance with all obligations imposed by the PRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan), including submission of periodic reports, expense justifications, and support during audits or external verifications, ensuring that all requirements are met;

Collaborating in the implementation of best practices in project management and optimization of internal processes to ensure maximum efficiency in the administrative and financial management of funded projects;

Work plan
This position aims to ensure rigorous management of clinical data, statistical analysis, and preparation of scientific documents within the scope of clinical studies conducted at 2CA-Braga, ensuring compliance with current legislation, Good Clinical Practices (ICH/GCP), and the center’s internal procedures. More specifically:

Manage clinical study databases, ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of data collected throughout all study phases;
-
Collaborate in the design of the statistical plan for clinical studies, contributing to the definition of analytical methods and statistical endpoints in coordination with the clinical and scientific team;
-
Calculate sample sizes for different types of clinical studies;
-
Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, supporting the interpretation of results and preparation of technical reports for various phases of clinical trials;
-
Perform medical writing tasks, including drafting, reviewing, and structuring scientific and regulatory documents such as clinical trial protocols, statistical reports, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), synopses, manuscripts for scientific publication, and submission documentation to regulatory authorities (e.g., INFARMED, CEIC);
-
Ensure that technical documents meet scientific quality standards, statistical accuracy, clear communication, and comply with applicable regulatory guidelines (ICH, GCP, EMA/FDA);
-
Participate in data quality monitoring and discrepancy resolution, collaborating with monitoring and clinical research teams;
-
Contribute to training and technical support of the multidisciplinary team on statistical analysis tools and data management;
-
Collaborate in the preparation and response to internal and external audits and inspections, providing documentation and technical clarifications related to data analysis and management;
-
Stay updated on best practices, statistical methodologies, and regulations applicable to biostatistics and clinical trials, promoting continuous improvement of the center’s processes.

Employment contract conditioned by the duration of the DeVMedCanEM project, submitted under notice MPr-2023-7 SIID – Business R&D – Co-promotion Operations – Other Territories.
