Erasmus+ Project ClickPaciente – Simplifying Digital Health for Patients

The 2CA-Braga has had its application approved by the Erasmus+ National Agency for Education and Training for the KA122-ADU project “ClickPaciente – Simplifying Digital Health for Patients” (Reference: 2025-1-PT01-KA122-ADU-000345163), with a duration of 18 months, from June 1st  2025 to November 30th 2026.

ClickPaciente arises from the recognition that many participants in clinical trials face difficulties using digital tools—such as telemedicine platforms, mobile applications, or monitoring devices—which are now an integral part of health research.

To ensure that these technological advances are truly inclusive, it is essential that professionals can communicate and teach their use in a simple, accessible, and participant-adapted manner.

In this context, the project aims to strengthen the digital and pedagogical skills of the 2CA-Braga team, promoting a closer, clearer, and more human-centered approach to digital health.

Key activities include the exchange of good practices with leading European institutions, participation in specialized training programs, and the development of innovative educational materials that facilitate the learning and use of digital technologies for both professionals and clinical trial participants.

Through this initiative, 2CA-Braga reaffirms its commitment to innovation, inclusion, and the humanization of clinical research, contributing to more accessible, person-centered science.

Objectives

The project aims to:

  • Empower 2CA-Braga professionals with the skills to provide clear, effective, and accessible instruction in the use of digital health technologies;
  • Promote participants’ autonomy and confidence, ensuring their inclusion in clinical trials;
  • Develop two structured digital literacy training programs, piloted with participants and subsequently made available to national partners;
  • Foster international experience through learning with leading European institutions.
