
The Braga Local Health Unit has been awarded a prestigious Research Prize for the pioneering BRAGAFirst project.
This achievement represents recognition of the creation of PBRN BRAGAFirst, which aims to support projects for the creation and development of structures to support clinical research in primary health care.
The BRAGAFirst project's main objective is to promote excellence in primary health care (PHC), through clinical and epidemiological research based on practice, with a multidisciplinary focus and aligned with the real needs of citizens and the community, as well as healthcare providers.
PBRN BRAGAFirst is a collaborative network, led by Cláudia Bulhões, Physician at USF Vida+ of ULS Braga and Director of PBRN, which includes health professionals from ULS Braga, researchers, academics and strategic partners:the 2CA-Braga (Clinical Academic Center - Braga), the Centro de Medicina Digital P5 and the ICVS - Life and Health Sciences Research Institute of Universidade do Minho.
