On July 1, 2024, the new management of the Clinical Academic Center of Braga (2CA-Braga) was elected, and is now chaired by Prof. Jorge Pedrosa and Dr. Domingos Sousa who assumes the position of Vice-President.
The new management of 2CA-Braga is also composed of 7 members representing its members – the Braga Local Health Unit is represented by Dr. Fernando Pereira, by Dr. Paula Marques and Dr. Rui Macedo; the University of Minho represented by Prof. Carlos Capela, by Eng. Luís Braga da Cruz and by Prof. Peter Morgado; Dr. Claudia Simões represents CUF-Porto.
2CA-Braga expresses its gratitude to the previous management, especially Prof. Nuno Sousa and Dr. João Porfírio de Oliveira, for their dedication and tireless work that promoted Clinical Research in Portugal.
The new management is committed to honoring this legacy and continuing to promote excellence in the area.
